IITS recently became aware of an issue with some cloud recordings made on Haverford’s Zoom instance and copied to Panopto.
Transcripts made by Zoom should be copied to Panopto along with the video. Thus, the Panopto version of your Zoom recordings should be closed captioned with the same transcript you see on Zoom Cloud storage. However, over the past several months, several Zoom recordings on Panopto have not included a transcript—even though that transcript existed on Zoom.
IITS is currently working with Zoom and Panopto to correct this issue but we suspect it will take some time for them to resolve it. If you have a recording with this issue, please email hc-techlearn@haverford.edu. We can help you bring your Zoom transcript into Panopto.
